Italian Majolica swan jardiniere (c. 1900-20)

Majolica swan vase or jardiniere. The arched neck swan is detailed with an orange beak and partially black face. The back of the swan is open creating a reservoir for plants or flowers. 

Italy, circa 1900-1920.

Condition: Scattered chips to the bottom and rear of the vessel. Areas of loss to the enamel on the face and beak. Wear commensurate with age and use.
