Equestrian cast bronze of a polo pony with rider by Frederick Voelckerling (1910)
Cast bronze figure of a polo pony and rider by German equestrian sculptor, Frederick Voelckerling. He studied at both the School of Applied Arts in Dresden and the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, studying painting, drafting, and sculpting, and his work was part of the sculpture exhibition at the 1928 Summer Olympic Games in Amsterdam.

Condition: The tail of the horse has been repaired but is virtually indiscernible. Very good overall condition. Marks and wear commensurate with age and use.
