Cast brass and lead weighted door stop of a lion confronting a snake, centered on a caduceus with the two snake heads forming a loop handle. The casting is in fine original condition with excellent detail.

English, Regency period, circa 1820.

Condition: Brass surfaces have been cleaned and hand polished. Wear commensurate with age and use.
