“A View of the Ruins of the Pantheon built by Adrian at Athens” (Vue des Ruines du Pantheon bati par Adrien a Athenes) is an engraving from one of Classical Greek architectural structures from “Les Ruines Des Plus Beaux Monuments De La Grèce” by Julien-David Le Roy. These engravings are notable as the first measured drawings of the structures of the Acropolis. The work has been de-acidified and archival mounted in a deep bevel mat framed in white gold square section molding. The title of the work is in both English and French below the engraving.
