French gilt bronze & opaline glass candelabra (1815)
French bronze candelabra with original fire gilt finish. The candelabra has three finely cast scroll arms in the form of a cornucopia, fixed around a central shaft with a candle socket on a white opaline column mounted on a gilt bronze foliate scroll work tripod base. Each candle socket is engine turned with an engine turned and removable bobeshe.
France, circa 1815-30.
Condition: This candelabra is in fine original condition, with the original fire gilt bronze finish intact. Wear commensurate with age and use.
