Square open top pewter box with tapered sides, featuring cabochon amethyst and cornelian in a vine and leaf setting applied to each side. An handle with supporting post. The design is drawn from the form of a Chinese ironing device.
China, made in for the Western trade, 1920-30's.
Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use.
Materials: Pewter, Amethyst, Cornelian
Dimensions: 5-3/4" L x 2-7/8" W x 2" H
