Tightly cropped landscape view of pines and aspen trees awash in autumnal yellows and reds, paired against a deep blue twilight sky. Born in 1945, McHuron graduated with a degree in art from Oregon State University and studied extensively with landscape artist Conrad Schwiering. Living and working in Wyoming for over thirty years, McHuron's plein-aire paintings highlight western landscapes and its wildlife. His work is on permanent display at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole Wyoming.
