Tapered square obelisk in painted slate with faux malachite panels on three sides, rising from architectural pediments atop each side of the square plinth. The plinth is mounted on a square base of cove cut white marble over a pillow cut gray & white marble on a square cut painted stone base. 

Circa 1840.

Condition: Painted surfaces show craquelure but are stable. Scuffs and marks are commensurate with age and use.
