English walnut linen press by Thomas Bradford & Company (1850-1900)
Black walnut double handled linen press with turned column and acorn finial. Thomas Bradford was a leading English manufacturer of washing machines, mangles, wringers, drying closets, and linen presses, with stores in London, Manchester, Salford, and Liverpool.
England, 1850-1900.
Condition: Press is in good original condition. The turned column has some areas of loss but does not effect use. Scratches, marks, and staining throughout. Wear commensurate with age and use.
