A generous bombé helmet shaped copper coal hod on a circular footed base. The hod is fitted with a brass bail handle mounted on cast brass pivot fittings and a cast brass tilter grip on the back rim. The copper surface is hand hammered with dovetail construction and fitted to the circular footed base.
