This camphor wood trunk exhibits elegant figuring, brass hardware, and rests on an ebonized hardwood stand with hand carved detailing. 

China, made for the Western trade, circa 1820.

Condition: The bottom of the trunk has shrinkage cracks and the bottom front edge of has a patch repair. Wear commensurate with age and use.
