English brass wick trimmer (c. 1810)
English cast brass wick trimmer raised on short posts at the finger loops and wax pick. There are two scroll embellishments below the finger rings and a double raised ridge design atop the wick collection box.
Birmingham, England, circa 1810.
Condition: This piece is in fair original condition. One rear post leg has been repaired and the front of the wick collection box has been soldered to the wax pick. Wear commensurate with age and use.
