American Hepplewhite maple spider leg candle stand (c. 1800-10)
American figured maple octagonal top candle stand with an urn form turned baluster resting on arched tripod spider legs. The single board table top is fixed to the base with a chamfered cleat. Traces of original oxide red stain.
Upper Connecticut Valley, circa 1800-10.
Condition: The top is slightly warped but the table is in very good overall condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
