American gilt tabernacle pier mirror by Waterhouse (c. 1810)
American Sheraton gilt gesso tabernacle pier mirror of turned white pine. The cornice is fitted with 16 gilt spheres above the ring turned half columns which flank the two part looking glass which retains its original looking glasses. Very fine condition, with gilding cleaned, and the original back boards. Attributed to Waterhouse, Albany, New York.
