Louis Philippe Period walnut fauteuil, upholstered in silk brocade in the Louis XVl taste. Beautifully proportioned and carved with its cabriole legs terminating in their original castor feet. Accompanied by a paired footstool in matching silk brocade.
France, second half 1800's.
Condition: Both the chair and the footstool have been reupholstered. Wear commensurate with age and use.
