George III rectangular giltwood overmantle mirror (c. 1770)
George III rectangular overmantle mirror of gilt gesso on carved pine. The molding is defined by its gadroon carved back band & lamb’s tongue carved with radius cut upper corners. The mirror glass has been replaced.
England, circa 1770.
Condition: Mirror glass has been replaced. Very good overall condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
