American mahogany Sheraton piano stool. The four square splayed, tapered, and reeded turned legs are joined with an ‘X’ stretcher. The height of the upholstered box seat is adjustable by means of a hand threaded wood screw post under the seat which continues through the X stretcher.

American, circa 1790-1800.

Condition: Wood has been cleaned and polished. Seat has been reupholstered. Overall condition is excellent. Wear is commensurate with age and use.
