American Hepplewhite cherry chest on French bracket feet joined by a scolloped apron. The four drawer fronts are figured cherry inlaid with holy stringing and framed by a cock bead molding. The key escutcheons are defined by shield inlays of a light contrasting wood, and the drawers are fitted with stamped brass oval plates and bails in the original borings. White pine secondary wood.
