Pair of English Old Sheffield candelabras (c. 1780-90)
Pair of George III old Sheffield plate three light candelabra in the Adams taste. The six sided looped arms support fluted tulip form candle cups which center on a single candle cup of the same design. The entire armature is removable, leaving a repeat of the fluted tulip form candle cup on a waisted post over a fluted trumpet form candlestick shaft on a ring turnings mounted to a circular fan fluted circular base.
England. circa 1780-90.
Condition: Very good original condition. Some scattered wear to the silverplate throughout. Wear commensurate with age and use.
