American tilt top spider leg oval candle stand (c. 1790-1810)
American Hepplewhite mahogany oval tilt top candle stand. The tilt top is hinged to a turned mahogany baluster on tripod spider leg base. The legs terminate with a railroad inlay cuff above a tapered foot.
New England, 1790-1810.
Condition: Very good overall condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
