Set of 4 classic Hitchcock style side chairs of painted and stencil decorated mixed woods, fitted with hand woven rush seats. The turned and bowed crest rails are morticed to the turned and splayed upper leg posts. Beneath the crest rail is a stencil decorated horizontal back splat over a narrow lumbar rail. The lower back posts are joined to the reel turned front legs by boxed stretcher rods. The hand rushed seat frame is fixed to the back leg post and turned front legs.
