English yellow tole tea tray centering on a tiger hunt (c. 1820)
Large English tole tea tray decorated in a rare yellow ground, centering on a hand painted scene of an Indian tiger hunt from an unidentified English sporting print in vivid greens, orange, and brown. The shallow rolled rim is decorated with a leafy gilt stencil and is pierced with handle grips.
England, circa 1820.
Condition: Very good overall condition with scratches, marks, and wear commensurate with age and use.
