Pair of Philadelphia bell metal andirons with paired fire tools (c. 1790)
American cast bell metal columnar andirons with double urn finials. The columns are supported by arched slipper feet peened to forged iron log rests. The iron log rests are fitted with miniature bell metal urn top columnar log stops. Paired with a set of brass and iron fire tongs and shovel.
Philadelphia, circa 1790.
Condition: Very good overall condition. Marks and wear commensurate with age and use.
