Rare double Thebes stool/bench produced for Liberty & Co. The hard wood seat frame is dished and fitted with the signature Liberty hand woven four strand linen cord strung seat on turned & shaped legs joined by square cut, boxed stretchers, after ancient Egyptian models.

London, England, 1870-1900.

Condition: Some fading and discoloration to the cording but in otherwise very good condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
