Pair of hand colored theatrical engravings from a bound volume containing 45 theatrical prints and nine drawings showing French actors and opera singers in famous roles. A copy of this volume is in the permanent collection of the British Museum, London. 

The character descriptions on the engravings reads as follows:

No. 164
VERTPRE, role de Mr. GUILLAUME dans le Piece de ce nom. Vaudeville.
Th du Vaudeville.

No. 66
FICHET dans MR. BLOME, du Reve ou la Colonne de Rosback.
Theatre de Vaudeville

Both works have been framed in mahogany cross banded moldings and are mounted under UV museum glass.

Published by Aaron Martinet, Paris, circa 1800.

Condition: Light toning to the paper but with very good color and clarity. Wear commensurate with age and use.
