Chinese ceramic ginger jar on wood stand (c. 1661 -1722)
Porcelain ginger jar decorated in cobalt underglaze blue with a stylized Phoenix framed in scolloped cobalt borders, base, and collar decoration. Mounted with a turned hardwood base and fitted with a turned hardwood lid. A double ring is in the underglaze on the bottom of the jar.
China, Kangxi Period, Qing Dynasty, 1661-1722.
Condition: Very good overall condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
