Japanese Imari porcelain footed saucer, c. 1840
Japanese Imari porcelain footed saucer with under rim and signature in cobalt under glaze blue. The face of the saucer is decorated with a cobalt blue trim-foil design with surrounding rim decorated inn Imari pattern of oxide red, green and gilding. A fine cobalt blue line with a gilt line define the shaped outer edge.
Japan, circa 1840.
Condition: Very good original condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
