Pair of Chinese rosewood tea tables with marble tops (1850-1900)
Pair of marble topped rectangular tea stands with finely carved and pierced aprons with shelf stretcher. The stands are of solid Asian rosewood, with a frame and panel construction on square legs terminating in a carved hoof foot. The tops are framed marble panels.
China, second half 19th century.
Condition: A support rail has been replaced under the bottom shelf on one table (see photo for detail). All surfaces have been cleaned and polished. Wear commensurate with age and use.
