Set of 18 mulberry decorated Delft tiles (1700's)
Large set of 18 mulberry decorated faience tiles. These tiles were fabricated during the late 18th to early 19th century and depict a baroque floral arrangement of three tulips in an urn within an inscribed circle. This format retains the Baroque tradition of scale and composition. The corners are defined by three pairs of lines radiating out from the inscribed circle with the interspace of mulberry dashes.
Holland, circa 1790.
