English cast brass Queen Anne candlestick (c. 1750)
Queen Anne hallow core cast brass candlestick with scolloped edge bobeshe and a faceted shaft knob peened to a scolloped edge domed base. A square groove on the interior of the candle cup indicated that is once had an internal screw candle ejector mechanism.
Birmingham, England, circa 1750.
Condition: The candlestick is in fine condition with a slight list. Surfaces have been cleaned and polished. Wear commensurate with age and use.
