Japanese Sumida Gawa ceramic vase (c. 1900)
Japanese Sumida Gawa pottery vase decorated in relief with two boys gathering seashells. The pottery is named after the Sumida River where the pottery center was located until relocating to Yokohama in 1924. The potter's mark is several marks associated with Inoue Ryosai.

Condition: Good original condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
