Pair of Balinese carved bust lamps mounted on cut coral bases (c. 1920-40)
Pair of exceptional and finely carved busts of a man and a woman in traditional Indonesian head scarves. Both busts were carved by the same hand, in Klungkung wood (a Balinese hardwood). The works are signed on the underside and mounted on custom coral stone bases which have been fitted with electrical conduit for a bulb socket.

Condition: Very good overall condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
