English stoneware teapot by Castleford (c. 1810)
Castleford smear glaze feldspathic stoneware covered teapot with cobalt blue enamel striping and applied Classical decoration throughout.
English, circa 1810.
Condition: The teapot has a hairline crack that starts at the bottom and continues up the opposite side of the pot. The crack is stable. Wear commensurate with age and use.
