Pair of English Sheffield chamber candlesticks by George Richmond Collis (c. 1830)
Pair of William IV Sheffield plate chamber sticks. The chamber sticks feature a circular reel turned edge to the under dish which is centered on a candle cup with a reel turned edge and attached candle snuffer with further reel turning. The inner rim is engraved with an eagle head with spread wings.
Hallkmarked on the inside of the lip: GRC
Birmingham, England, 1825-35.
Condition: Marks and fading to the silver plate commensurate with age and use. One chamber stick has more wear to the interior. Overall good original condition.
