Chinese covered and footed rice box of bamboo with a sewn joint attachment, converted for use as a lamp. The surface retains its original lacquer finish and is mounted on a Chinese turned hardwood footed base. Shade not included.
China, early 1900's. Lamp conversion is contemporary.
Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use.
