Pair of generously proportioned American cast brass beehive andirons with arched spur legs on ball feet. The brass castings support a forged iron log rest.

Boston, circa 1815-25.

Condition: Brass surfaces have been cleaned and hand polished. One leg shows a repair and marks and scratches are visible throughout, as expected with age. Wear commensurate with age and use.
