Pair of Charles X period, French Restoration, mahogany “chaise en gondole” chairs with leather upholstered boxed slip seats. The chair backs have a single vertical urn silhouette back splat below a crest rail pierced with a handle grip. The chair rests on pseudo sabre front legs and raked rear legs. Swietenia (Cuban) Mahogany primary wood.

Condition: These chairs are in fine original condition and the seats have been recently reupholstered in a fine blue leather. Wear commensurate with age and use.
