English elm wood milking stool (1860)
English elm wood circular seat milking stool on turned legs terminating in tulip bulb feet. joined by ‘X’ stretchers.
England, circa 1860.
Condition: The stool has been refinished and re-glued for stability. There is a crack in the edge of the hand-carved seat. Wear commensurate with age and use.
