French fruitwood marquetry top writing table (1950’s)
Academic Revival rectangular bureau plat in the French Directoire taste. The fruitwood marquetry top is mounted on a conforming apron fitted with a divided long drawer. Each drawer face is banded with a brass molding and fitted with square bail & rosette drawer pulls. The desk is supported by square, wasted, and tapered legs which terminate in cast brass feet. Painted hardwood base with brass mounts.

Condition: Table has been repainted. Wear commensurate with age and use.
