American Windsor bench (c. 1830)
Windsor bench with carved mahogany arms and mixed woods. The bench has a birch crest rail supported by turned spindles on a single pine board shaped seat supported by bamboo turned legs with box stretchers. The arms are scroll carved mahogany and attached to the upper rear leg post-and-spindle turned arm posts.
American, Northern New England, circa 1830.
Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use.
